Zone Intelligence checks six security layers: (1) DNS integrity and record configuration, (2) Email authentication — SPF, DKIM, and DMARC, (3) SSL/TLS certificate health and HSTS, (4) HTTP security headers — CSP, X-Frame-Options, Referrer-Policy, (5) Admin panel and management interface exposure, (6) AI visibility — whether AI assistants can find and cite your business.
How does Zone Intelligence grade domains?
Zone Intelligence grades each security category A through F based on the presence and correctness of security controls. An overall grade is calculated as a weighted average. A = excellent (all controls present and correctly configured), B = good (minor gaps), C = fair (significant gaps), D = poor (critical controls missing), F = failing (multiple critical vulnerabilities present).
Does Zone Intelligence store my domain data?
Zone Intelligence performs live DNS and HTTP checks against your domain at the time of the scan. Scan results are stored temporarily to generate your report. If you provide an email address, your report is emailed to you. IDENETY MSP does not sell or share scan data with third parties.
What should I do after running a Zone Intelligence scan?
After your scan, review the findings by category. Critical (F/D) findings should be addressed immediately — especially missing DMARC records, expired SSL certificates, and exposed admin panels.
